My dad came home early from work yesterday, just as was getting home from school. I didn't think much of it, then when my dad asked me to lower the gate on the trailer, which he is normally perfectly capable of doing. I did, and we both went inside.

We got inside, my dad sat on the couch, I got a snack. As I was eating, I noticed my dad didn't look to good, he had a bruise under his eye, he moved carefully and slowly, wincing occasionally, and he had a band-aid on his chin.

Turns out while he was working at the cemetery, some guy he saw earlier was high on glue and attacked my dad. I overheard the story, and my dad went to the hospital to get himself checked out. Terri had to drive him because it the doctors used any drugs for the pain, he wouldn't be able to drive himself home.

Ouch.

Update: This morning, I heard on the radio that the police are after a person high on glue that attacked a cometary worker, and tried to kidnap a gal in her car. It took me a moment to realize that that was my dad they were talking about. The day before he attacked my dad, he was in a arts and crafts store, and stole 19 bottles of glue and was harassing employees. I know this because my aunt works there.

Weird.
